WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED TO BOOK?

The following information is required by the Urban Yacht Week and needed for every guest in your Suite.

*Full, legal name (first/last only) as it appears on your passport
*Birth Date
*Phone Number
*Email Address
*Citizenship
*Any special dietary or physical needs

WHAT AMOUNTS ARE DUE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?

For those who signed up for RSVP, you are required to pay the deposit at the time of booking. As you have already paid the $350 RSVP Fee, the $350 will be credited towards your booking. Deposits differ depending on the Suite category you choose and are as follows:Interior = $350/ppVIP Experience

MULTIPLE CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

If you will be paying for your stateroom with multiple credit cards, you will need to have all of the credit card numbers (with expiration date and the card’s verification code/number) as well as the billing name and billing addresses for each card. The credit card(s) must belong to the guest(s) booked on the reservation.

WHAT TYPES OF CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept most major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

HOW ARE MONTHLY PAYMENTS CALCULATED?

Monthly payments are calculated using the base rate of the Suite type/category you’ve selected, plus the taxes, fees, gratuities and admin fees ($350), minus the deposit paid, divided by the number of months required to finalize your Suite booking. Monthly payment rates will depend on the amount you’ve deposited towards and the timeframe of booking. If you have questions about your monthly rate, please contact our Support Department.

Standard Rate Deposit = $350/ppVIP Rate Deposit = $500

WHAT IS THE UNLIMITED BEVERAGE EXPERIENCE?

ALL 2021 SUITE PRICES WILL INCLUDE THE COST OF UNLIMITED ALCOHOLIC AND NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Guests can choose from an unlimited selection of cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, premium coffee, tea and bottles water (still/sparkling).

ARE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?

Yes. Depending on the date of your initial booking, payment plans may be available for UrbanYacht Week guests. The date you make your reservation will ultimately determine your total deposit due at the time of booking and the subsequent payment dates. Check out our price page for more info.

The $350/pp RSVP fee will be applied as a credit towards the reservation total. The deposit balance, if any, will be due at the time of booking in order for the reservation to be counted as active in our system.

WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO BOOK A SUITE?

Although there isn’t “really” a “last day” to book, rates and availability are not guaranteed until booked. We recommend booking early to guarantee the best rates and best Suite locations. Urban Yacht Week rates increase closer to sail date! The sellout risk of any Urban Yacht Week is extremely high.

CANCELLATION POLICY

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! NO EXCEPTIONS! Due to the unique nature of our event, the UrbanYacht week is non-refundable. There are NO exceptions to our cancellation policies. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. We must receive written notice of your cancellation either via certified mail, overnight courier, or e-mail sent to [email protected] If a flight or other delay for any reason prevents you from joining the week by the boarding time on the departure date, you will be considered a no-show, and no refund or credit is applicable towards a future week. Please note that your decision not to travel due to State Department advisories or fear of travel will constitute a cancellation by you. No refund or credit will be given for any unused features or early departures for any reason. There will be no refunds given for those who do not board the ship on time, unused tickets, or after the UrbanYacht Week has occurred. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information on our cancellation policy.

WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMEONE IN MY RESERVATION CANCELS?

As a courtesy, UYW offers guests within the same reservation the ability to split the cost between guests, and additionally offers subsequent monthly payment plans depending on when the reservation was created. If a guest (with payment responsibility within the reservation) cancels, regardless of the reason, that guest will be responsible for covering their entire balance at the time of cancellation. If that guest refuses to pay their outstanding balance, it then falls on the Primary to pay for the entire balance, alternatively, to reach an amicable plan with the remaining members of the Suite to cover the canceled guest’s portion either in full, or split the balance owed into monthly payments for the remaining members of the group.If you or any of the guests within a reservation can find a replacement for the person canceling, we can honor a name change subject to a $150-$250 name change fee depending on when the request is made. Once the new guest is added, they will take over the payment responsibility from the previous guest and pick up where they left off, however, UYW will not refund any previously paid portions to any guests regardless of the reason.As a primary, if you are in a double occupancy room and your Suite mate cancels, they will be asked to pay their remaining balance or find a replacement at which time either party will cover the ‘name change fee’ of US$150 – $250 USD. In the event that this guest refuses to pay off their balance, or find a replacement, the responsibility falls on the primary to find the replacement, pay the US$150 – $250 USD “name change fee,” or pay the double occupancy rate and remain in the room as a single occupant.Please note that, as per the Terms and Conditions, Primaries cannot cancel out of the stateroom.

SHOULD I PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against financial loss due to non-refundable costs and fees due to unexpected cancellations and travel emergencies. For your convenience, you will be presented with your Travel Insurance options after you’ve booked your Suite. This is through a third-party site.

I WANT MY SUITE TO BE CLOSE TO MY FRIENDS. HOW DO I REQUEST THAT?

You can choose and select your Suites online. If you and your friends are booking together it should be easy to select and choose Suites near each other. Requests to be located next to your friends should be made at the time of booking. UYW will use its best endeavors to book your Suite as close to your friends as possible, however, the earlier you book, the easier it is to accommodate these requests. Special requests are not guaranteed. Please call our office for assistance.

Your Urban Yacht Week rate includes:• Accommodations• Most meals excluding specialty restaurants, bars and cafes.• Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages (For terms and conditions see Unlimited Beverage Experience brochure on the pricing page)• Entrance to ALL Urban Yacht Week events on and off the ship.Your Urban Yacht Week rate does not include:• Government taxes and fees• Spa treatments and certain specialty exercise classes• Laundry• Photographs• Casino• Ship-to-shore phone, email, Internet, fax• Shore excursions• Insurance• Airfare• Ground transportation to/from the Port• Food and beverages at off-site events.• Other optional items not limited to the above

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR TRAVELERS?

The Urban Yacht week is 21+, no exceptions.

CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY OR OTHER SPECIAL EVENT?

Congratulations!! We know you could celebrate your Special Event anywhere and we are delighted that you chose to celebrate with us!! Please let us know how we can make your Special Event memorable by sending our Support Team an email at [email protected] so that we can accommodate your request.

HOW DO I BOOK AN ACCESSIBLE SUITE?

Urban Yacht Week is committed to assist you with any special requirements you may have. However, at this time the yacht does not offer accessible suite

DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO SET SAIL?

Urban Yacht Week strongly recommends that all of our guests travel with a passport (valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel).Having a valid passport will enable you to fly from the U.S. to a foreign port in the event you miss your scheduled embarkation, or to fly back to the U.S. should you need to disembark the ship mid-week for any reason.The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) stipulates the following information with regards to “closed-loop” weeks, which are sails that originate and terminate in the same U.S. Port. Please note that this information could change at any time without notice.U.S. Citizens (including children) taking “closed-loop” weeks will be able to enter or depart the country with either a valid U.S. Passport – or – Proof of citizenship, such as an original or certified copy of his or her birth certificate (or a ConsuMiamir report of Birth Abroad, or a Certificate of Naturalization), along with government issued photo identification, such as a State issued driver’s license.Other acceptable forms of identification include:• U.S. Passport Cards• Enhanced Driver’s Licenses• Trusted Traveler Cards (NEXUS, SENTRI, or FAST)• Military Identification Cards (for members of the U.S. armed forces on official orders)• U.S. Merchant Mariner Document (for U.S. citizens on official maritime business)• Enhanced Tribal Card (where available)Please note: Baptismal papers and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. Voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship.

HOW/WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS AND BOARDING PASS?

Within 30 days of weeking, you’ll receive an email with your week line booking/reservation number and instructions on how to complete your online check-in and print your boarding pass. Each guest in your Suite will need to complete the week line’s mandatory online check-in at least one week prior to weeking. Your boarding pass is your “ticket” for boarding and must be printed and presented at check-in at the terminal.

HOW DO I MEET OTHER URBAN YACHT WEEKS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE?

Welcome Aboard the Largest Yacht Festival at Sea! Now that you’re booked, join our UYW 2021 Private Facebook group (for UYW 2021 Attendees Only)! Meet new friends, find old ones, share costume ideas and other tips!! You must have a confirmed reservation to be added to Attendees Only groups. Your request will be compared to our guest list. If you do not have a confirmed reservation, your request will be denied. If your Facebook name does not match the name on your reservation, please email [email protected] so we can approve your request to the group.

I WANT TO ATTEND URBANYACHT WEEK, BUT I DON’T HAVE A ROOMMATE. WILL YOU FIND ME ONE?

Yes! We get several requests for roommates. If you need a roommate, please email us at at [email protected] we will do our best to accommodate you. *Room Share options are very limited and subject to availability. We will do our best to pair you with someone of similar age, gender and Suite selection, however requests are not guaranteed. *Your decision to accept a roommate for the UrbanYacht Week is at your own risk. UrbanYacht Week is not responsible nor liable for any and all claims or causes of action arising out of or in connection with your selection of a roommate for the Week, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from such request or selection
